Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has instructed Triacta Nigeria Limited to develop designs for the dualization of Ishaya Bakut road and implement standard water drainage channels across the Idye marshy area that intersects the road.
During his inspection of the affected areas, Governor Alia identified the urgent need to expand Ishaya Bakut road and to install global standard drainage systems to manage flooding along Gboko road and Abu King Shuluwa road at Akpehe Junction in Wurukum and other parts of the city.
Speaking to the press, Engr. Nabil El Basir, representing Triacta Nigeria Limited, highlighted the governor’s concern regarding flooding near Benue Links Park and along Abu King Shuluwa road in the Wurukum market. He confirmed that the governor has requested a comprehensive proposal for approval by the Executive Council (Exco), paving the way for the commencement of the project.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Engr. Nabil assured readiness on the part of Triacta Nigeria Limited to promptly begin work upon receiving the executive order.
