Benue: Governor Alia inaugurates cabinet after 92 days in office

Benue State, Nigeria – After a prolonged wait of 92 days since assuming office, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State is set to inaugurate his cabinet today, heralding a significant step in the state’s governance since his swearing-in on May 29, 2023.

In an unexpected twist, the governor’s list of appointees was submitted to the state house of assembly, but its contents remained undisclosed to the public for several days.
