Benue govt. receives NMA President

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, today received at the Benue People’s House, the President, Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Benue State born gynaecologist and
University administrator, Prof. Innocent Ujah.

Ujah, who is the pioneer vice-chancellor, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo was accompanied on the visit by management staff of the new university as well colleagues in the NMA.

Prof. Ujah told Governor Ortom, who was represented by his deputy, Engr Benson Abounu that he was at the Benue People’s House to thank the government for its massive support to him in his quest to clinch the presidency of the nation’s apex medical body as well as its supportive role in the take-off of the University of Health Sciences.

Responding, Gov. Ortom expressed joy at the exploits of its son, Prof. Ujah and pledged to continually support his efforts, both at the NMA and the successful take-off of the university of Health Sciences.
