The returning Officer for Presidential election in Logo LGA, Dr. Fidelis Ayatse of BSU Makurdi has cancelled the election results in 3 out of 10 council wards in the Area.
Presenting the result in Makurdi a moment ago, the INEC Official cited cases of violence and irregularities in the conduct.
He also cited a case where 10,000 votes were recorded against 2,000 accredited voters.
While the INEC Office was burnt down in Ugbah and properties worth millions of naira destroyed, the Returning Officer said he had to run into a nearby bush where he slept till day break.
Logo LG is the home of Gov. Gabriel Suswam who is standing a Senatorial Election against the incumbent, Barnabas Gemade.
