A young lady whose origin was traced to Itikpala Ainu, Oju LGA, Benue State, has been allegedly raped to death in Lagos on Sunday.
The rapists dumped her corpse in a nearby pond where it was found floating.
The sad incident took place at Apapa area of Lagos.
A contact with a source who inquired of the incident at Apapa confirmed the origin of the deceased to Itikpala Ainu in Oju, Benue State.
Police in Apapa confirmed the incident and had begun search for the killers.
Investigation further revealed that the locale of the sad incident has a proximity with a location in Apapa where commercial sex workers dubbed as “hustlers” operate.
