Benue lawmaker donates charcoal, others items to constituents (PHOTOS)

The House of Representative Member Representing Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers has donated relief materials to his constituents as palliatives to aid survival while enduring the lock down order of the Federal Government.

The Senior Legislative aid of the Member, Hon Barr George Usongu who led the distribution of the materials along side Hon. John Mark, a grass roots politician delivered to the citizens a black cellophane leather containing something suspected to be Charcoal or grains and a mini bottle hand sanitizer as the gesture from the member.

Beneficiaries of this gesture in Makurdi, the states capital and Agasha in Guma Local Government gathered in their numbers to receive the intervention from the Honourable member.

Appreciating the member, Hon Mark eulogized the effort of Hon Mzondu. He said ” We in Guma LGA have not made a mistake to vote for you. You are indeed “man of the people”. Just of recent you flag a free health scheme in Guma LGA.

” In less than two months again you are here again to touch the vulnerable. It shows that we are in for great times in your tenure”.

Many commentators have frowned at the supposed palliative referring to it as insulting and inconsiderate.

This is coming on the hills of severe expressions of dissatisfaction with the representation of the member at the green chambers.
