Benue LG election: Napoleon Otache emerges APC candidate in Agatu

Huma rights activist and lawyer, Barrister Napeloen Otache, has emerged as the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Agatu Local Government Area.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the exercise took place in all the Wards headquarters across the 23 local government areas of the state on Saturday, 24th August 2024.

Meanwhile, the people of Agatu Local Government Area have welcomed the victory of Otache during the primary election.
The celebration cut across all political party divides, affirming the acceptance and popularity of Barrister Napoleon Otache in Agatu politics.
Majority of the youths and women we interviewed could not hide their joy as they looked up to the leadership of Hon. Barrister Napoleon Otache to change the fortunes of Agatu for the better. They expressed their maximum support for him.
Similarly, the Agatu stakeholders of the APC were also involved in celebrating Barrister Napoleon Otache’s victory.

The leaders of the stakeholders, represented by Hon. Simon Egahi Ada, Hon. Joshua Sale, and Hon. Habibu Saidu Edina, danced joyfully and reaffirmed Agatu’s support for Barrister Napoleon Otache.
They stated that it is time to give a youth with proven integrity a chance to lead Agatu in these challenging times. They highlighted Barrister Napoleon Otache’s numerous positive contributions, including his interventions in the area of security in Agatu. They argued that if Barrister Napoleon Otache has displayed uncommon love for Agatu in his personal capacity, he would achieve even more when given a leadership position.
In the same vein, the youths and women of Ogbaulu Community also expressed their deep joy over the victory of their son, Hon. Barrister Napoleon Otache.

The people of Ogbaulu Community appealed to other communities in Agatu to support and test their son, whom they believe will lead Agatu to the promised land. The joyous celebration for Barrister Napoleon Otache’s victory is still ongoing in the Ogbaulu community market square at the time of this news report.
The elders, widows, and clergymen were also part of the celebration of Barrister Napoleon Otache’s victory.

They prayed for his total victory in the forthcoming local government election in the state. They also appealed to all opposition political parties in the state to adopt Barrister Napoleon Otache as their sole chairmanship candidate for Agatu LGA in the scheduled local government elections.
It should be recalled that Barrister Napoleon Otache is a renowned human rights lawyer and a community development expert based in Abuja.

He has fought many battles for the advancement and protection of Agatu people’s interests and is a consistent grassroots mobilizer for positive actions.
