Benue State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned its officials at all levels to steer clear of involvement in the activities of persons contesting for elections such as creating internal partisanship.
The party specifically warned its executives at the Ward, Local Government Area, Zonal as well as State levels to distance themselves from activities which are seen as promoting the ambitions of aspirants who are yet to emerge as candidates of the party.
Bemgba Iortyom, Benue State Publicity Secretary of the PDP in a statement said such activities in the view of the party include endorsement, zoning arrangements and all other activities which aim to confer undue advantage on aspirants or groups over others.
The party firmly stated that any of its officials found to be in breach of this directive will be decisively sanctioned in line with provisions of its laws.
