Benue LG Polls: James Oche, 22 Other PDP Candidates Meet Party Exco as Election Holds Saturday

It is now beyond shadow of doubt that, local government elections in Benue State will hold on Saturday, the 30th day of May, 2020. This became part of the official communication today when candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party met with the leadership of the party.

The meeting which held at the Party’s State Secretariat in Makurdi, Benue State Capital we reliably gathered was a pre-election strategic interaction to discuss on the best possible ways to enable the party emerge victorious at the polls.

Speaking with news men shortly after the meeting, PDP Candidate for Ado Local Government, James Oche said, elections were holding on Saturday and it was in the character of the party to take deliberate steps to attain success that the meeting was held.

He said it was pertinent that, electorates come out en mass to support him as well as other candidates of the party and charged people to observe the health regulations on prevention of the spread of Corona virus on that day to wit; the wearing of masks, observance of social distance, abstaining from physical contacts, use of alcohol based hand sanitizers and all.

On his part and that of his colleagues, Oche noted that tension was brewing but expressed optimism that his party will carry the day.
