James Ogaba Oche, the erstwhile Caretaker Chairman of Ado Local Government of Benue State was yesterday affirmed as the sole candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 28 local government polls in Benue State.
Remarkable faces at the affirmation ceremony were Hon. Alex Ogaba, Mrs Agnes uloko, Augustine Ogbu, Andrew Ugbala, Hon Steve Aluna, Hon Ogwiji Atoji, Andrew Otokpa, Moses Ojah, Hon Ebere Ogbloja, Hon Ejeh Ogaba, Obande Gideon, Hon Aboh Sunday, Hon Solomon Aboh, Hon otse ominyi and a host of others not mentionable for want of space.
Oche who made an unprecedented mark while he held sway as Caretaker Chairman earned the confidence of majority of the party stakeholders who insisted that he be returned as elected chairman to consolidate his legacies.
Similarly, 10 persons were unanimously agreed upon to become the Councillor aspirants of the PDP in Ado and they include the following:
1. Hon Aboh Sunday for Igumale Ward
2. Hon Egwurube Enotse Patience for Igumale Ward 2
3. Hon Otsanya Isaac for Akpoge-Ogbilolo Ward
4. Hon Oche Onazi Sunday for Apa Ward
5. Hon Ugwuru Matthew Ugah for Royongo Ward
6. Hon Emmanuel Ajagbo for Ogege Ward
7. Hon Emmanuel Udah for Ukwonyo Ward
8. Hon Adikwu Adai Rasco for Ijigban Ward
9. Hon Adadu Friday for Ulayi Ward and
10. Hon Kingsley Ogbu Adamu for Ekile Ward.
With this development, the PDP in Ado has readied herself for the March 28 polls and is patiently awaiting other political parties to join her at the test of popularity.
