Benue North-West: Ortom under pressure to declare for Orker Jev’s seat 

Legal practitioner Jirgba Terfa Jirgba has served a Demand Notice to the governor of Benue State, Governor Samuel Ortom to either declare for his 2023 Senatorial ambition or face litigation at the Benue state High Court of Justice Makurdi.

IDOMA VOICE observed that Emmanuel Yisa Orker-Jev the current occupant of Benue North-West senatorial seat in the national assembly.

Ortom, who hauled from the same zone, has been tipped to remove Jev from seat once he completes his tenure in 2023.

Jev ousted George Akume from the seat in 2019.

Jirgba in the notice said it would benefit his zone more if Ortom joins Gabriel Suswam and Abba Moro at the red chamber.
