Benue: Ogbadibo PDP loses vice chairman, Paul Ameh Ijachi
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbadibo Local Government has expressed profound grief over the sudden passing of one of its political stalwarts, Hon. Paul Ameh Ijachi, the incumbent vice chairman of the party in the area.
The unfortunate incident occurred on 3rd February 2026.
Reports indicate that Hon. Paul reportedly fell ill briefly before being hospitalized. Despite medical efforts, he could not recover and passed away, leaving a void in the political landscape of Ogbadibo.
In a statement, Hon. Sunday Ogira, PDP Chairman of Ogbadibo, described Hon. Paul as a key pillar of the party and lamented his departure at a time when both the community and the party needed him most.
“Hon. Paul has been one of my strongest backbones in the political sphere of Ogbadibo,” Hon. Ogira said. “We pray that God Almighty closes every door of death among us and grants comfort to his family, while reposing his gentle soul.”
Hon. Jobsurvive also expressed the party’s sorrow, noting, “PDP Ogbadibo loves you, but God loves you the most.”
Hon. Paul Ameh Ijachi’s contributions to the political and social development of Ogbadibo will be remembered.
