Benue PDP Convention: Oche congratulates John Ngbede, others, hails Abba Moro’s call for Zone C governorship
Ado Local Government Executive Chairman, James Oche has felicitated with Hon. John Ngbede and other members of the PDP Executive Council who yesterday emerged victorious at the Benue PDP Non-Elective Convention. He has similarly called on the people of Benue State to give consideration to Sen. Abba Moro’s call to consider the people of Benue South to take turn for governorship come 2023.
In a statement personally signed by the chairman, Oche congratulated the Chairman and described Ngbede as a workaholic whose positive leadership insight and impact the party could not afford to miss.
Taking a walk down memory lane, Oche noted that, having suffered monumental failure in 2015, the party fished Hon. Ngbede who mysteriously seized power from opposition forces in the state by winning seven House of Representatives seats, 23 House of Assembly seats, 23 local government Councils and 276 electoral wards. A feat, unprecedented.
On Sen Moro’s comments, James Oche said time was long due for people of Benue South to also test their hands on the governorship and further called on the Benue people to give it due consideration.
Oche advised the reelected Chairman to work hard to again reinstate the party in 2023 elections by building the support base from the grassroots and fielding acceptable and qualified candidates.
Finally, he prayed the good Lord to grant the John Ngbede led Exco the zeal to steer the party safely through his tenure.
