Benue: Police arrest Soni Dollar over Wurukum robbery attacks
Men of the Nigeria Police in Benue State have arrested one Soni Dollar, one of the suspects behind the robbery attacks in Wurukum area of Makurdi, the state capital.
Many dangerous arms were recovered from the suspect, IDOMA VOICE reports.
Many residents of Makurdi have lamented how thieves rob people of their valuables in the area.
The development came barely 24 hours after some youths staged a peaceful protest over constant robberies in the state capital
Confirming the development, a humanitarian worker, Ukan Kurugh said, “One of the kingpin of the robberies in wurukum by name Soni Dollar was arrested by men of the Nigeria Police with enough arms recovered in his house with the wife fully aware. Our fight is indeed not in vain. Kudos to men of the Nigeria Police on this.
