Benue South 2019: Apa stand still as Comr. Abba Moro canvasses for votes (Photos)

The campaign train of former Minister of Interior and Benue South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate for the forthcoming general elections, Comr. Abba Moro on Friday January 18th, 2019 held Apa local government still.

Comr. Moro who was described by Apa residents as the Moses of the Idoma nation in his speech stated why he is the best man to take over from former Senate President, David Mark.

According to him: “I know where the Idoma nation is going, I know how far we have gone, and where to start from unlike my counterparts.

“We all know that if you are not present during a burial ceremony, and all of sudden, you are being asked to unravel the grave. You might likely start from the wrong side.

“Only me understands the level of Sen. David Mark’s effort and can take it from where he stops effortlessly.

“I know his plans and how to finnish every thing he has started but not completed.

“My opponents and I have served in different capacity and position in the past. I want you to ask anyone who comes here to campaign to tell you what he or she did while in office before asking you to vote.

“It’s no longer news that so many Idoma sons and daughters are in different paramilitary offices today because I choose to make their plight my pain. Am not seeking your votes because I’m hungry but to librate the common Idoma youth to be what they should be in the society.

“So many of our communities still lack the basic amenities that we need. The question is, how can we get these things fixed. The easiest way to get our dear land working again is voting for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to be president, Samuel Ortom as Governor, myself as our Senator and Hon. Ademu Entonu as the member representing Apa/Agatu federal constituency in the coming elections. I said so because it will be easier for me to influence someone who shares the same political idea with me in order to facilitate projects. Please vote for all PDP candidates, let nobody come to decieve you like in 2015 when APC came and promised change but brought untold poverty and calamity.” He said.

Also speaking, is Hon. Ademu Entonu, the member representing Apa/Agatu federal constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly who sited notable project he has carried out so far, the ones on going and the plan to do more.

The member representing Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency, Hon. Chief Ezekiel Adaji who accompanied the PDP candidates on the Ward2Ward tour insisted that things will surely get better only if PDP candidates are voted for in the coming elections.

Present at the different campaign venues are PDP stakeholders and staunch supporters from within and outside Benue South.

Below are the names of the wards visited by the PDP campaign train.

Oba, Iga, Ofoke, Oji, Ugbokpo, Edikwu I, Edikwu II, etc.
