Benue South 2019: Igede community endorses Abba Moro as campaign train hits Oju, Obi

The Comrade Abba Moro movement, today, took her campaign tour to Oju and Obi Local Government Areas to officially notify the PDP L.G and ward Excos of his intention to run for the upcoming 2019 Benue south Senatorial District (Zone C) election. Comrade Abba, who arrived at Oju at about 11am notified the party excos of his readiness to serve the people of Zone C in the National Assembly, if given the opportunity.

Presenting Comrade Abba Moro, the leader of the team Hon. Abor Jonathan Ahubi Mark said comrade Moro who he described as Mr Empowerment was a lecturer at the Benue State Polytechnic, ugbokolo and the okpokwu Local Government Council Chairman. He was the first Chairman to embark on community markets project and his numerous projects and achievements are well known in the State not to talk about when he was the minister of interior. He added that if given the necessary support, he will still do what he ” Mr empowerment” knows how to do best for the people of Oju.

Responding On behalf of the party excos, Hon Atujo Okoh said that it is not necessary to knock when one is entering his house. He stressed that Igede Land is comrade Moro’s second home and the name “Abba Moro” in Igede is a household name. He promised to queue behind him when the need arises.

Speaking on behalf of zone A, Hon Jackson Ikala Onah declared that Comrade knows them in oju, and they shall prove that they know him. He added that there is no need to come to Oju to seek their support because his good work have spoken and working him already and shall continue to speak for him.
In the same spirit, Dr Jonah Ogbaji who spoke for Zone B said, since Abba Moro is a well known personality to the Igede people, the people of Igede should work with the face they know. Any other faces coming for Senate is/are strange faces

Speaking on behalf of oju Zone C, Mrs Alicia Eru said Zone C know who their senator is, even before he made his intentions known to them, and they have prayed for the day to come to formalize the process.
Also, the former Caretaker Chairman of Oju Local Government Council, Hon Mrs Alice Eru, presented green leaves symbolizing peace to the aspirant said the leaves signify peace in Igede and that Comrade is for all. She called on all the women to pray for the success of his ambition

In the vote of thanks , Hon Godwin Owulo, the zonal chairman of PDP thanked Comrade Abba Moro for coming to oju and assured him of their total support in the coming primary and the general elections.

In Obi,the Party Chairman of Obi, Hon Bulus welcomed the people’s Bridge on behalf of his excos. He emphasized that Comrade Abba Moro is no longer a visitor in obi and the people of Obi are already aware of his ambition and have been praying to God to give them a person like Comrade Moro to lead the people of Zone C after the Dist. Sen. David Mark,Okpokpowulu K’Idoma and today their prayers has been answered. He urged all other members of the party to go out and spread the message of Comrade Abba Moro ahead of 2019.
Mr Raymond Ijale , Mr Augustine Abe and Moses Egbodo all called for support of Comrade Abba Moro come 2019. They unanimously Said Comrade Moro has touched lives beyond human expectation and if he had done it before ,he will do it again and even better than before. They asked party delegates to line up behind Comrade Moro and urged delegates from other local governments not to make the mistake of not voting for Comrade Moro.
