Renowned philanthropist and respected community leader, Chris Adaba Abah, on Monday declared his total support for the candidature of Comrade Abba Moro ahead of the February 16 senatorial election.
Adaba, fondly called Mad Lion, put aside their political differences and embraced the candidacy of Moro for senate.
He called on people of Benue South to support the former Minister of Interior as he remains the only credible person among the other candidates vying for the senatorial seat.
Speaking amid cheers in Otukpa when the Abba Moro campaign train stormed Ogbadibo on Monday, soft-spoken Adaba said the interest of Benue south supersedes every personal interest, hence, his support for Moro.
Earlier, Moro and his entourage had visited Owukpa and Orokam, where they were received by mammoth crowd, who pledged their support for him.
The people of Otukpa, Orokam and Owukpa vowed to deliver bloc votes for him at the polls come February 16.
Speaking during his visit to the communities, Moro reiterated the fact that among the top three contenders vying for the seat, all of them had worked in government and it would be nice if the electorate would choose who had helped the people when the held sway.
