The Benue South senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP), Comrade Abba Moro has called on the people of Ogbadibo local government area to judge politicians asking for their support by their antecedents.
Comrade Moro made the call at joint campaign rallies of the Peoples Democratic party in Owukpa, Orokam and Otukpa all in Ogbadibo local government area of Benue State.
Moro said it was not just right for those of them that have been severally tested not to tell the people what they did in the interest of the People in their previous assignments.
He said when he held sway as the Minister of Interior he facilitated massive employment of Ogbadibo sons and daughters.
Moro therefore challenged his fellow contestants to roll out their achievements either in the areas of community development or human capital development.
The former minister urged the people to vote for all the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party in the forth coming elections stressing that PDP is the only party that can bring succour to the people.
Earlier, the council chairman of Ogbadibo local government assured that the entire Ogbadibo people will massively vote for Comrade Abba Moro as according to him, “Abba Moro is the only person who will go to the Senate and not sleep”.
In his address, the House of Representatives candidate, Dr Francis Agbo who urged the people to vote for all the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party said he would use his influence to attract democratic dividends to area if voted into office.
He said he was conversant with most challenges confronting the people of the area, stressing that Ogbadibo would occupy the front burner of his development agenda if given the opportunity to represent them.
Also speaking, former Ambassador to Sweden, Dr Ogbe Obande and former council Chairman of Ogbadibo local government area, Mr Clement Agada who extolled the leadership qualities of the trio- Abba Moro, Dr Francis Ottah Agbo and Enemari promised to work for the actualization of their victory at the polls.
The tonic of the event was the open declaration by Mr Chris Adaba Abah who declared to work for the victory of the three candidates.
The declaration sent the scene into huge jubilation.
