Benue South: PDP rejoices as Abba Moro floors Dan Onjeh in court

Benue State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rejoices over the victory won by Senator representing Benue South District, Patrick Abba Moro, earlier today at the National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal.

The Tribunal sitting in Makurdi upheld the victory of Senator Moro at the 2023 election dismissing the petition challenging it by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Daniel Onje.

PDP hails the judgement of the Tribunal as sound and a validation of the decision of the majority of the people of Benue South who voted to return the former Minister of Interior to a second term at the Senate on account of his star performance in the first term.

The party heartily congratulates Senator Moro and believes that the victory further strengthens his ranking status in the Red Chamber as well as it will boost his motivation to perform both legislative and representative functions vested to him creditably well.

Our great party in the same vein enthuses that this victory of Senator Moro coming closely on heels of that won by Senator Gabriel Suswam only a couple of days back sets the right stage for the anticipated victory of the party’s 2023 Gubernatorial Candidate, Engr. Titus Tyoapine Uba, at the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
