Benue State First Lady is Nigeria’s First Lady of the year

The First Lady of Benue State, Dr. Eunice Ortom was today 25th February 2021 named the “First Lady of the Year” at the 4th edition of the Daily Asset Awards held at the Nicon Luxury Hotels, Abuja.

Presenting the award to Dr. Mrs Ortom, the publisher of Asset Newspaper Dr. Cletus Akwaya stated that the panel chose Mrs Ortom for the coveted prize because of the impact of her numerous interventions and empowerment programs through the Office of the First Lady of Benue State and her N. G. O, the Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF) on thousands of people across Benue State and beyond.

In her acceptance speech, Dr. Eunice Ortom thanked the organizers of the awards and the people for appreciating her contributions in her complimentary duties as the Wife of the Governor and her efforts towards creating a better living for all through her N.G.O. and appreciated the partners of ESLF who in one way or the other, contribute in making the Foundation work effectively. She stated the award will spur her to put in even more efforts.

Eleven (11) other awardees were recognized for their contributions in various fields of life including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha who emerged as the Daily Asset Man of the Year.
