1. Making major headlines this Friday morning is the disposal of over 120 staff of former senate president, now a floor member of the national assembly, Mr. David Mark.
Mark, a retired sodier also fired his son, Babatunde and younger brother, Igoche after his party was defeated in the last general elections.
2. Yemisi Gabriel Suswam, wife of the former Benue State governor, has been accuse of robbing the state’s liaison office in Abuja, carting away over N100m.
She had since fled to the United State with her husband who left over N90bn for his successor, Ortom.
3. Former education minister, Jerry Agada has told anybody who cares to listen that he’s not in his country home, Orokam tapping palm wine.
A fan had recently posted on Facebook, asking of the whereabouts of Agada, wondering if he had gone to his country home to tap palm wine.
In an interview with Vanguard, the Orokam-born politician said he will never defect to the PDP. Recall that former senate president, David Mark had also affirmed that he will be the last man standing in the former ruling party.
Agada, who once led the National Association of Nigerian Authors, in 2007 gunned for the Benue State gubernatorial seat but lost the ticket to the eventual winner, Gabriel Suswam whose tenure came to an end last month.
4. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Benue State has nabbed a total of 148 suspects in connection with illicit drugs.
