1. NYSC DG, Brigadier General, Ibrahim Shuaib. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has dismissed report claiming that its Director General, Brigadier General Ibrahim Shuaibu, has plans to Islamise the NYSC orientation camp in Benue State.
In a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations at NYSC, Adenike Adeyemi, a group under the auspices of Coalition for Peace and Justice had, in a statement, alleged that the NYSC DG expressed anger that there was no mosque in the camp and ordered Benue State Coordinator to build a mosque in the camp immediately.

3. The Middle Belt Forum, MBF, has condemned in strong terms the barbaric massacre of 25 people by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Sunday, June 30, 2019, during a church service in Okokolo village in Agatu local government area of Benue State.
Dr Isuwa Dogo, National Publicity Secretary of MBF, lamented in a statement that the unprovoked attack on worshippers brings back the sad memory of previous attacks on Agatu and several other parts of Benue state that led to the death of hundreds of people and displacement of thousands now languishing in Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs camps.
