The fight against HIV/AIDS had gone on for decades and Nigeria being the most populous black nation and a developing nation had a hard it as the early detection of this so called strange ailment was surrounded with a lot of myth.
The scientific breakthrough that exposed the cause of this so called strange ailment brought succour to humanity, the battle had however just begun.
Ranging from the loss of loved ones to the era of high discrimination, the scientific intervention of Anti Re-Troviral drugs (ART) that suppresses the viral count and drastically reduces its spread rate; the war against HIV/AIDS is yet to be won.
The United State presidency through APIN, USAID, and other donor agencies including the WHO and UNAIDS have continuously supported the fight fight against HIV and AIDS.
The Benue State Government today received the US Diplomatic community as APIN as the lead partner of Benue on HIV/AIDS takes the fight to a greater dimension.
The project aimed at encouraging indigenous takeover and higher participation by government, individuals and the corporate world in the fight against the scourge, shall be launched at the Benue State Peoples House by tomorrow 27 February, 2020.
This Epoch event will have the presence of the US diplomatic community, DG NACA and other dignitaries.
