The Ugboju Traditional Area Council, been passionate about the project which they believed will significantly improve the security of lives and property in the area, made the decision to demand for donations from sons and daughters of the district. The building which is furnished with state of the art facility can compete favourably with any Police Divisional Headquarters in any parts of Nigeria. This position was buttressed further as the team from Force Headquarters, Abuja that went on inspection of the facility before the approval was granted were astonished and overwhelmed as to how the Police Station built and donated to the Nigeria Police by Prof. Dickson Akoh is so well equipped with modern facilities, including CCTV camera and a brand new Hilux Van to aid police operation in the district.

The new Police Divisional Headquarters, Ogoli-Ugboju which is slated to be commissioned by the Benue State Commissioner of Police, Wale Abass on Saturday 17th September, 2022 shall have full compliment of police officers and and men as well armoury befitting of the status of a Police Divisional Headquarters. Already, the district has donated land to the Nigeria Police for the building of her Barracks in the area.
