Benue woman arrested for attempting to kidnap neighbour in Nassarawa

The Police in Nasarawa state have paraded a twenty-eight year old woman who allegedly conspired with kidnappers to abduct her neighbor.

The woman was paraded alongside other criminal suspects for various offences.

 

The woman identified as Paulina Santos hails from Benue State but resides in Azuba, a suburb of Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.

She is being accused of attempting to kidnap her neighbor due to her perception that the neighbor is wealthy.

But, she ran out of luck when she contacted a man to carry out the job, who out of shock at her request, decided to inform the police.

Residents of the state are yet to get over their surprise at this development and commend the police for their timely intervention.

Paulina who works as a casual staff in a Primary Health Care facility in Nasarawa confessed to her crime in an interview with journalists and pleaded for mercy.
