Benue Youth Summit: Ado LG boss, Oche witnesses theme and logo unveiling, tasks committee (Photos)

Ado Local Government Chairman, James Oche, his Otukpo counterpart George Alli and other distinguished personalities yesterday witnessed the unveiling of the theme and Logo for the proposed Benue Youth Summit during a meeting with Governor Samuel Ortom, his Deputy Benson Abounu and Council Chairmen of the 23 local government areas.

The Chairman of the steering committee, Pastor Dave Ogbole and secretary, Terrence Kuanum, unveiled the theme “The Future is Here” and the Logo before the Governor and other government officials at the Benue Peoples House in Makurdi.

The event which is scheduled to hold between November 25th and 28th will have 50 delegates each nominated from the 23 local government areas of the state to participate in the summit.

Reacting to the press after the event, James Oche said the planned youth summit is a bold step in positive light and expressed optimism that it would create an avenue for youth cross fertilization of leadership and development ideas.

He appreciated the Governor for such a wonderful idea and further tasked the Pastor Dave Ogbole steering committee to justify the confidence reposed in them by Benue people.
