BESIEC announces date for Benue council polls, promises free, fair, credible election

The Chairman, Benue State Independent Electoral Commission, Dr. Loko Tersoo Joseph has promised to conduct a free and fair elections come next year.

Dr. Loko made the promise while unveiling the time table for the conduct of Local Government Elections at the George Akume Hall, Local Government Service Commission.

The BESIEC Chairman said though appointed by the Benue State Government led by the People’s Democratic Party, he is not ready to compromise on his desire to give the people of Benue State credible Local Government Elections.

The Commission has announced 28th March 2020 as the date for the conduct of the Council Elections in the State.
