Biafra: Allow Igbo to go if you don’t trust them – Former presidential candidate, Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, ace journalist and publisher of Ovation International Magazine, has called on the Nigerian authorities to let Igbo go if they don’t find them worthy of juicy positions.

According to Momodu, a former presidential candidate of Labour Party, Igbos are contributing to world economy like the Chinese but are not valued in Nigeria.

He lamented that it is very unfortunate that Nigerian authorities don’t find a worthy Ndigbo to be President, Inspector General of Police or Chief of Army Staff.

In a video posted on his social media handle and sighted by IDOMA VOICE, the ace journalist said, “If I am the president of Nigeria today, I would have turned the southeast to our own Silicon Valley.

“These are people highly endowed, they are brilliant just like Chinese, Koreans and Indians put together.

“So, why are we not using them? Because we said there is a civil war and we said we have forgiven ourselves but Igbo man cannot become anything in Nigeria.

“Igbo man cannot be trusted to be president, police IG.

“Look at Joe Biden, he appointed Nigerians into his government even before his inauguration.

“He didn’t consider the fact that people say Nigerians are corrupt and all those sentiments they express against us.

“And in Nigeria an Igbo cannot be IG or COAS.

“If you don’t want them and don’t trust them and they want to go, why are you stopping them?

“These are people contributing to world economy, not only Nigeria.”
