Biafra: Easterners agitating for secession are unreasonable – El-Rufai’s son, Bashir

Bashir El-Rufai, son of Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, says those southeasterners agitating for Biafra are unreasonable.

According to him no reasonable person from the South East wants secession.

Bashir who made this know via his verified Twitter page, disclosed that no reasonable person from the South East condone violence.

“No reasonable person from the SE would condone violence, neither do the majority want any secession. The ones in my life & I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with (off social media) only want a conducive economic environment and Insha Allah all this violence shall come to an end,” he tweeted.

Members of the Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have been spearheading the region’s call to secede from Nigeria.
