Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, will today, January 25, 2021, address his fans and followers.
His broadcast is aimed at addressing the ongoing war between the people of Southwest and Fulani cattle rearers.
Recall that Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu had given Fulanis in Ondo forest reserves seven days ultimatum to leave or face forceful ejection.
Similarly, Sunday Igboho on the hand led some young men to Igangan to eject Fulani settlers in the area.
The development irked the federal government to declare Akeredolu’s order as unconstitutional.
It also urged the police to arrest Igboho for attacking the residence of the Sarkin Hausa in Ibarapa community.
Kanu has frowned at the order for the arrest of Igboho, saying Nigeria does not belong to Fulani.
The time for the special broadcast is 7pm.
The IPOB leader wrote, ““The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it” – Thucydides. Don’t stand back. Don’t stand down. Freedom beckons. Youths of #Nigeria the time to take it is now!”
