BIRS nabs two for impersonation

Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS) Task Force on illegal tax activity, has arrested two person for impersonating as tax agents.

The two suspects, Jacob Sam Atule and Aondoyila Agni were arrested by the task force, operating illegal check points at Abinsi, Guma Local Government Area.

The duo were apprehended at 10.19pm extorting unsuspecting commuters under the inexistent auspices of National Freight Haulers Association claimed to be from the Federal Ministry of Transport and also Forum of Mobile Advert Practionals of Nigeria daily ticket.

They have been since handed over to the police for further investigation
