The Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), has reiterated its commitment to the growth of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in the state.
This declaration was made by the Executive Chairman BIRS, Mr. Andrew Ayabam, at the official opening ceremony of the Entrepreneurship boot camp organized by Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
According to Mr. Ayabam, small businesses are the soul of every economy everywhere in the world which is why he is resolved to ensure their survival and establishment.
The chairman who decried the unfortunate influx of multiple taxes, informed the participants of the eradication of all multiple taxes, including illegal taxes which have been the reason why businesses have continuously closed up in the state.
Meanwhile the Chairman thanked SMEDAN for partnering with BIRS and promises to further enter into more partnerships that will enhance business growths in the state.
