Bishop David Abioye unveils new ministry: Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly
Renowned cleric, Bishop David Abioye, on Sunday officially announced the name of his new ministry, following his retirement from the Living Faith Church.
The seasoned preacher, known for his calm and humble disposition, had earlier begun a spiritual initiative titled “Hour of Revival.” That initiative has now transitioned into a fully established church.
The ministry, now formally named Living Word Conqueror Global Assembly, was inaugurated during a Sunday morning service on May 4th, 2025.
Delivering his message, Bishop Abioye recounted how, towards the end of 2024, the Lord began to unveil His divine purpose to him through a series of spiritual encounters. This included a clear mandate to host a Global Interdenominational Power of Revival Ministers and Leadership Conference.
He explained that what began as a Sunday evening gathering had—by divine instruction—migrated into a Sunday morning service. Quoting Ephesians 3:8, he described this new calling as an “undeserved privilege given by the election of grace.”
The bishop outlined his divine assignment as follows:
To inspire believers at all levels toward selfless service to God and humanity
To spearhead revival missions across the nations, with emphasis on godly living, passion for God, kingdom dedication, and heavenly consciousness
To pastor the destinies of men and women divinely connected to the ministry
He emphasized that this new assembly was not born out of public demand, but rather from the unfolding of God’s eternal purpose—a purpose ordained before the foundation of the world and now revealed in God’s timing.
Describing the church as an offshoot of the universal Church of Christ, Bishop Abioye positioned himself as a messenger of a portion of the Great Commission, noting that no single individual can fulfill it in its entirety.
The announcement culminated in the official inauguration of the church—Living Word Conqueror Global Assembly—in the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
He declared it a platform for spiritual development, edification, and the triumph of the saints globally.
In his words, “Everyone who witnesses this day will not cease to conquer in all areas of life. Stepping into this assembly is stepping out of failure, defeat, and calamity—and stepping into endless triumph.”
The congregation joined him in a powerful declaration:
“Conquerors Global Assembly!
Conquerors Global Assembly!
That’s where we belong!”
