Blessed Michael: Young printer from Benue stabbed to death in Abuja

Michael Blessed, a young printer from Orokam, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State has been stabbed to death by unknown gunmen.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the young man was murdered on Thursday night by unknown gunmen around Cedi Plaza, Central Area, Abuja, on his way from work.

Michael, a source told IDOMA VOICE was working for a man at UTC, Area 10 but got a contract and rented a shop close to the man, a development that has since stirred a bad blood between them.

A close friend told IDOMA VOICE that the young printer was on his way home around 9pm when he was accosted by some persons who stabbed him several times on his neck.

“He was on call when they attacked him and he only managed to inform the girl on the other end of the phone about the attack. The attackers fled the scene immediately they stabbed him and left the young man in the pool of his blood.

“When we got to the scene, he was already unconscious, before we got to the hospital, he gave up the ghost. He is currently in the mortuary in Mararaba,” the source who gave his name as Adoyi, said.

Asked what step has been taken to investigate what led to his murder, the young man said the family had concluded plan with the police to invite his estranged boss for interrogation.
