Blood flows in Anambra as gunmen attack another police station

Gunmen on Sunday morning attacked another police station in Anambra State, leaving one person injured.

But policemen on duty repelled the gunmen from burning down the station located at Mgbakwu, Awka North local government area.

Though the gunmen shot sporadically, they met resistance from the policemen on duty.

It was gathered that one policeman on duty was injured while the gunmen ran away when they faced superior fireworks from the police.

A source said the injured policeman had been taken to hospital for treatment.

Confirming the incident, Anambra Police Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, said the gallant efforts of their men did the magic.
