Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, famously known as Bobrisky, has weighed in on the ongoing dispute between musicians Samklef and Davido.
The conflict between the two artists began when Samklef, in a congratulatory Instagram post, shared a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma, leaving the hospital with their newly born twins in Atlanta, USA.
Davido, who had not publicly announced the birth, responded by scolding Samklef for purportedly leaking the video and proceeded to block him on social media.
Subsequently, Samklef took to his Instagram page to accuse Davido of not settling a supposed N1 million debt owed to a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student named Mastermind since 2020.
Addressing this ongoing feud, Bobrisky shared his thoughts on Instagram, suggesting that Samklef’s frustration is a result of Davido blocking him on the platform.
“Sometimes, silence is not always the best response to certain individuals. A few weeks ago, Samklef was praising Davido, but as soon as he blocked you, the feud began,” Bobrisky remarked. He went on to advise Samklef, saying, “If you want him to unblock you, have some elders appeal to him; he might reconsider. However, going after him won’t change his stance. In this situation, you are the one at a disadvantage. As a producer, you’ve fallen short, as a musician, you’ve also faced setbacks, and your attempts at blogging and interviewing have not fared well.”
