The lifeless body of an unidentified 43-year-old man was recovered from a stream in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, on Tuesday.
Hassan Adekunle, the spokesperson for the Kwara state fire service, provided this information in an official statement in Ilorin.
“The dedicated firemen exhibited their remarkable skills and successfully recovered the lifeless body of an unidentified man, approximately 43 years of age. The body was handed over to a team of police officers from the ‘A’ Division of the Nigeria Police Force in Ilorin,” he added.
The director of the state fire service, Prince Falade John, emphasised the importance of safety and urged the general public to remain vigilant at all times.
