Boko Haram: ISWAP attack village, kills 15, burn over 500 houses in Niger Republic

Boko Haram ISWAP fighters on Saturday attacked the town of Toumour, Diffa in the Niger Republic.

The Insurgents fatally shot 15 villagers including the elder brother of the town Emir, Maina Usaini who is 60 years old.

Report says the assailants who attacked the community at about 7 pm, razed 10 cars and over 500 houses belonging to IDPs from Abadam LGA, who sought refuge in Toumour town.

Sources say an unknown number of persons were burned to ashes while many more lost their lives by drowning in the river while trying to escape the terrorists.
