Boko Haram planning deadly attacks this Ramadan – report

Plans plan by Boko Haram ISWAP units to launch multiple attacks on military hard targets with possible civilian casualties in locations given as Jakana and Ngamdu – Northern Nigeria have bee uncovered.

Accoding to EON, the jihadist are likely to camouflage and deploy arms and ammunitions stolen from Nigerian troops at a location given as Mainok – North East Nigeria.

The attack plan by the insurgents is likely to commence along the deadly Maiduguri – Damaturu road at any moment before the end of the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan. The jihadist are reported to be planning a complete or partial take over and control of Damaturu – Maiduguri Road and encircle Maiduguri before

Launching what has been described as a ferocious attack on the ´Home of Peace’ population as they break their Holy Ramadan fast. The attack route is predicted to be from the Alargano axis.

 

The unit to undertake the planned mission is suspected to be led by one commander only known as Baa SHUWA.

His unit have been spotted massing up in large number and in possession of similar arms carted away from troops in recent attacks in Mainok.

Stakeholders and commuters are advised to take precautions and where possible avoid using the Maiduguri-Damaturu road until the situation is calm as security forces take proactive action.
