BREAKIN: Naira Marley, Sam Larry arraigned over Mohbad’s death

Music artist Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and his associate Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, have been brought before the police in connection to the passing of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, in Lagos, and was laid to rest the following day. However, suspicions were raised regarding the involvement of Naira Marley and Sam Larry in his demise, allegations both vehemently denied.

Mohbad’s departure from Marlian Records, owned by Naira Marley, last year left their relationship strained and surrounded by controversy. The police invited Naira Marley and Sam Larry for questioning and subsequently arraigned them before a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos, on Wednesday.

The court granted the police’s request to keep them in custody for further investigation.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has declared Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy wanted, over  his failure to honour invitation regarding the death of Mohbad.
