Kaduna State Governor, Sen. Uba Sani, has officially announced the release of over 200 Kuriga school children who were kidnapped by suspected bandits.

The Governor, delivering the news late Saturday night, confirmed the safe freedom of the school children.

“In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Most Merciful, I am pleased to announce the safe release of our Kuriga school children,” Governor Sani declared.

He expressed heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his steadfast dedication to the safety and security of Nigerians, especially in ensuring the unharmed return of the abducted Kuriga school children.

“Throughout the ordeal, I had multiple conversations with Mr. President,” Governor Sani shared. “He empathized with our pain, provided comfort, and tirelessly worked alongside us to ensure the safe homecoming of these children.”

Governor Sani also highlighted the exemplary leadership of the National Security Adviser, Mal. Nuhu Ribadu. Together, they devoted sleepless nights to refining strategies and coordinating the efforts of security agencies, ultimately resulting in this successful outcome.

“The Nigerian Army deserves special commendation,” Governor Sani continued. “Their display of courage, determination, and unwavering commitment has shown that criminal elements can be degraded and security restored in our communities.”

“We extend our deepest gratitude to all Nigerians who fervently prayed for the safe return of the school children. Today is truly a day of joy. We attribute all glory to Almighty Allah.”
