No fewer than 3 police officers have been reportedly killed on Wednesday night by a group of unknown gunmen in Enugu State.
It was gathered that the incident happened at the Chime Avenue, New Haven, Enugu North Local Government Area of the State.
A source revealed to newsmen that the gunmen, driving in a sienna car, overtook the hilux van of the policemen and opened fire on them.
Three of the officers were said to have died on the spot.
The Enugu State Police Command is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
