BREAKING: 340 abducted Kankara school boys released, on their way to Katsina

A total of 340 abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara are on their way to the Government house in Katsina, after safely leaving the bandit camp in Zamfara.

Recall that bandits led by Daudawa along with Dankarami and Idi Menore attacked the all-boys school on Friday, December 11 and abducted the school children.

The boys were released after spending six nights in captivity.

Boko Haram’s factional leader Abubakar Shekau tried to buy off the boys and claim responsibility for the attack but thanks to the intensified effort of the Katsina state Governor, Aminu Masari and the Nigeria Military in collaboration with local vigilantes, the boys have been released.
