The Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, made the announcement on Wednesday during plenary.
Senator Moro who is the Deputy Chairman, Senate Committees on Army and Inter-Parliamentary affairs, replaces Senator Dajuma La’ah as Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Character and Inter-governmental Affairs.
