Nigeria’s acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali, has ordered the disbandment of all monitoring satellite offices in Lagos and Port Harcourt.
The Police Chief made the announcement in a meeting with Police Commissioners and Senior officers on Thursday.
Alkali said the monitoring teams were dissolved following incessant complaints of harassment levelled against the officers.
