Once again, Dangote has made a significant move by reducing diesel prices to N940, following closely on the heels of a recent drop to N1,000 just a fortnight ago.
Under this latest adjustment, customers purchasing five million liters or more from the refinery will enjoy the revised price of N940, while those acquiring one million liters or more will be eligible for the rate of N970.
Mr. Anthony Chiejina, the Head of Communication, emphasized that this price revision reflects Dangote’s commitment to alleviating the economic burdens faced by Nigerians. He highlighted a strategic partnership between Dangote Petroleum Refinery and MRS Oil and Gas stations, aimed at ensuring affordable fuel prices across their stations nationwide, from Lagos to Maiduguri.
Chiejina elaborated, “Consumers can now purchase diesel for as low as N1,050 per litre and aviation fuel at N980 at all major airports where MRS operates.”
