BREAKING: Again, herdsmen kill two in Benue

Two persons have been feared dead by suspected herdsmen militia in Guma Local Government Area of Benue state.

This comes barely 24 hours after herdsmen militias attacked and killed seven at Abagena IDPS Camp in Makurdi, the Benue state capital.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the victims werw husband and wife and were ambushed their victims and matched to death while they were riding home on a motorcycle to Branch Udei, Guma Local Government Area.

The incident happened along Makurdi-Abuja Road few kilometers away from where Abagena IDPS Camp.

IDOMA VOICE had reported that according to local new page, Citizen TV, herdsmen had written to residents of Abagena and environs to prepare for their visit even before attacking the camp.

Efforts to get police comment proved abortive as a spokesman of the Benue State Police Command could not be reached as at the time of filing this report.
