Ajax Manager tells Calvin Bassey to leave the club

Ajax manager, Maurice Steijn has openly advised Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey to seek a departure from the club. Steijn candidly revealed to the media that he believes it would be in Bassey’s best interest to find a new opportunity elsewhere.

One of the key reasons behind Steijn’s suggestion is the financial aspect. With Bassey’s potential departure, Ajax could free up valuable resources to strengthen their squad significantly. The manager emphasized the importance of transparency and honesty in his conversation with the young defender, stressing that a move away from the club could be beneficial for both parties involved.

The revelation has sparked speculation about Bassey’s future and potential suitors eager to secure his services. As a promising talent in the Super Eagles’ setup, the young defender’s next move could be a pivotal step in his footballing journey.
