All 28 passengers dead as boat conveying church members from convention capsizes on Benue River

Report reaching IDOMA VOICE from Benue State has it that a boat mishap Sunday afternoon claimed over 28 lives on River Benue at Kwaghter axis.

It was gathered that the boat was said to have had twenty eight people on board conveying Christian faithful to an annual Convention when it capsized.

There was no survivor.

At the time of filing this report, only one corpse was found.
