Anonymous, an online network known for launching cyber attacks against government institutions, has shut down the website of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
NNPC is the oil corporation through which the federal government of Nigeria regulates and participates in the country’s petroleum industry.

A message on the homepage of the website reads: “The server is busy now. Try again later. Correlation ID::fa78849f-d0fe-00c8-5620-0b63fa0f133a.”
A who.is check on the site by IDOMA VOICE also showed that that last time the site was accessed by the admin was: 2020-10-13 13:59:28.
The hackers confirmed the development in a tweet.
